  • ""Willow View" is a delightfully furnished cottage which we found impeccably clean, and with every comfort provided ."

We were delighted to see how much the owners have introduced E-Co friendly products to the property. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower very efficient, and washing machine and dishwasher all available and in tip-top working order. We had a very happy, comfortable and relaxing week here, which we intend to repeat at some point in the future. Thank you for all the effort and thought put into making this property a real "home from home."

Willow View was perfect; very comfortable, and to a very high standard with thoughtful touches. I certainly appreciated it all. Location ideal, quiet and convenient for walking into town. Will most certainly book again.

  • "We enjoyed a pleasant winter week here and made full use of the woodburner."

We appreciated the general cleanliness and high quality of the fittings/ crockery/ fixtures/ bedding etc. The general area and neighbours were very quiet. It was also nice to have some milk in the fridge for us, and a few treats on arrival. After seeing the local parking situation we decided buy a weekly ticket for the car park and it is good, literally 3 minutes walk away and down a slight incline.

The owners checked in with us and provided useful information for our stay. Everything was within walking distance, so it was great not using the car. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

  • "This was a super place to stay for us."

So close to the middle of beautiful Shrewsbury, yet incredibly quiet and peaceful. The house is, calm, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The bed was comfortable and the main bedroom had lovely views across the garden to trees. The owners had thought carefully about guests' possible questions and the welcome information was clear and helpful which helped us. There were also plenty of books and games should a rainy day be on the cards. Thought had been given to eco-friendly toiletries and cleaning products and you could easily use the house as a base to explore using public transport. We felt very relaxed staying here and used it as a fantastic base to explore Shrewsbury and beautiful Shropshire. In our opinion, an ideal place to stay for a couple or family with younger children.

  • "The cottage was excellent and in a very convenient location."

We did have a bit of trouble finding it, and couldn't see anything to indicate its name. You have to go in via the back gate. I would recommend parking in the car park rather than trying to park on the road, which is very narrow.

Thank you for your feedback we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that you had difficulty finding the property, it is a little hidden away! Sarah sends an email out prior to any guests arrival to the email address on the booking, with detailed instructions on your parking options and how to find the cottage. My apologies if this didn't get to you. We hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "This was our second stay here."

We had a great time again, the only thing not as good was the weather, but there is so much to do around the town it didn't really matter. The property is great, everything you would need for a week away. The kitchen is better equipped than most others we have stayed in. Great big shower and relaxing bath upstairs and comfy beds. Our 2 year old loved it as well, I'm sure we'll be back.

  • "The house is in an excellent location near to the centre of Shrewsbury but it is also very quiet."

It is beautifully decorated, providing a homely feel. We were left biscuits, wine and milk to arrival and heating and lights were on. We were glad to use the wood burner as it was chilly weather whist we were in Shrewsbury. Logs were provided and we topped up as necessary. We would strongly recommend Willow view as a great base to visit Shropshire.

Ideally located on the Theatre side of town, there are loads of cafes, pubs and restaurants within a stone's throw. Clean, warm, comfortable and it has everything you could possibly need. Shrewsbury is a lovely town, a 'must go' if you've never been. We really enjoyed our week, walking up to 12 miles a day in the surrounding countryside. Be sure to visit the indoor market, it's a gem! We highly reccomend this cottage, the owners made us feel so welcome; we'll be back!

Comfy sofas and beds; good quality bedding; a selection of little goodies on arrival; nice little outdoor garden with choices of seating area; tastefully decorated with ambient lighting; great large shower space and, unusually for a holiday property, a few well kept house plants. It's a very short stroll into the fabulous town of Shrewsbury with lots of nice eateries; independent shops; river walks; visitor attractions and an easy drive (or train) to lots of other great places in Shropshire. Although the property doesn't have it's own parking space there is a very good car park within a couple of minutes walk from the house which offers a weekly stay at a very good price. It was hassle free and worked very well. It's a great holiday home. Thank you - we'll certainly return.

Extremely comfortable beds ( TOO comfortable !) , walk-in rainshower, kitchen with quality crockery, utensils and appliances. What is there not to like. No parking but Frankwell car park is just at the end of the path- booked in advance at £24.00 for the week. A four minute walk to the Welsh Bridge and we were into the vibrant town of Shrewsbury. There are riverside walks, open spaces at The Quarry, lovely Dingle garden, the Abby , museums, castle and with shops, restaurants and cafes in abundance. Unfortunately we had to return home. Thanks to our hosts at Willow View for making our vacation in Shrewsbury so memorable. Phil and Norma Brown

The house has been tastefully decorated throughout, and although it has a contemporary feel, it still retains the cosiness of a terrace property. The location is perfect, everything which Shrewsbury has to offer being within walking distance, but despite the close proximity of the town centre it is very quiet and peaceful. It's got everything you need, it's quiet, it's conveniently located and it's a lovely place to stay. The owners are really helpful and it was a stress-free stay. Shrewsbury's a pleasant town that punches well above its weight in terms of size - plenty to see and do. There's great walks around the town and river.
