  • "We had a lovely stay at The Cart House for our friends 30th Birthday."

Couldn’t fault any part of it, the owners we’re super helpful! We plan on coming back next year.

  • "Owner paul made us feel really welcome."

House was lovely and great size for us all. Warm and comfortable. The only minor things I could point out was that the bathroom needs a little more ventilation as there was quite a bit of condensation and the lights on the hot tub need fixing as we had to keep activating the security light so we were not sitting in the dark. Other than that, a beautiful house and would definitely stay again.

  • "Small things that did not detract from our stay, but might be worth addressing."

Pillows not firm enough. We had to roll up the spare duvet to put under the pillows to give us some elevation. Not enough cutlery. Everything needed to be hand washed before each meal. I repeat. This did not detract from a wonderful stay

  • "Absolutely loved the cart house!"

We had a 3 night stay and we could of easily stayed longer we really didn’t want to leave! It was immaculate inside and really nicely set out. We loved how peaceful it was and felt really private, would definitely recommend and Paul was a lovely host even left us a welcome pack with bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of cava which was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again, thank you.

  • "The accommodation was to a high standard and we had a very good holiday."

Paul the owner sorted out 2 minor issues very quickly and efficiently. He had left us a "welcome" pack with some essentials milk, bread, dishwasher tablets, flowers and a bottle of prosseco - all appreciated and a nice touch. If we were to suggest any improvement it would be a bigger dining table, we were unable to sit 6 of us around the table provided but it did not detract from the holiday. The water pressure was also a bit variable which led to some shower issues but we were in the country so possibly to be expected but a booster may be a possibility but again a great holiday was still had by all

He was great at giving recommendations for local pubs etc. The home was a lovely place to stop in There was a couple of recommendations I would make It could do with a few more mugs/ plates etc as we had to wash them up after every meal as there was only 6 of each, along with a hand towel in the kitchen

  • "Stayed at the Cart House mid August 2021 and loved it."

It really is as nice as it looks like in the pictures. A beautifully converted old farm building with all mod cons. The location was perfect for exploring, very quiet and some nice local walks to take the dog out. And house is very comfortable to come home to in the evening, with the hot tub just an added bonus. The owner was super helpful, offering advice on places to go etc. Nothing was too much trouble.Highly recommend the Cart House.

It was super dog friendly, chic, high standard of decor, and very well equipped. The free coffee pods, tea, suagar, eggs, bread, milk and the use of the coffee machine were lovely touches. Oh and a bottle of fizz!! Hot tub is always a winner of course. Lovely fenced in garden for the doggies. Thank you so much

  • "Myself and my partner were incredibly amazed to learn that we were the first guests at this property as the facilities, amenities and property in general itself was 10/10."

We have stayed at 15+ rental homes/cabins in the last 4/5 years and this definitely has been the best one to date. Paul, the host, was incredibly humble and welcoming which is always a plus. The home itself felt like it was made with great care, attention to detail and consideration as it has been made so very well. Every room in the property was refreshing, clean and spacious! The open plan kitchen space is perfect for either a family stay or even if you are staying with some friends, simply because of the large space which allows everybody to relax and enjoy themselves in one room. The kitchen was well equipped with pans, utensils and cooking space. A large induction hob which make cooking very easy and quic. The fridge/freezer has more than enough space to hold plenty of food/drink for the full weekend for 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and each room has plenty of space. We made great use of the hot tub daily, both in the day and night. In the day, the garden gets a perfect view of the sunset and fields and at night the hot tub has LED lighting in with a nicely lit pergola. This property most definitely exceed my expectations and we will 100% be re-booking this place in the future as it was 10 out of 10. Thanks for such a great and long needed weekend break!
