We left our Bedlington terrier in their care for half a day, and she had a wonderful time, while we were able to explore Shrewsbury on our own. The Barn cottage is situated in a quiet village half way between Church Stretton and Shrewsbury which is ideal for exploring the whole area. There are some wonderful scenic walks in the hillside and country parks. The views from the windows of the cottage are of the Shropshire hills and we were lucky enough to look at the snow capped hill tops in blue sky and sunshine. Plenty of nearby villages with pubs and restaurants.
