"Wonderfully relaxing stay at the Cow Barn."
The property is beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, cosy throws & all mod cons including decent showers, a Nespesso coffee machine & the all important log burner. Plenty of space for us all with 2 dogs who enjoyed the field at the back and their homemade treat. Just wish we could have stayed longer and explored more of beautiful Shropshire. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at these barns.

"Lovely retreat for a group of 4 friends and 2 pooches with incredibly helpful hosts."
Our only feedback would be that it would have been helpful to have some extra light at the side of the barn between the back door and hot tub but other than that, impeccable!
Would 100% return.

Prosecco, cake, eggs, milk and treats for the dogs! We found plenty to do within a reasonable distance but enjoyed time just chilling at the cottage too. Thoroughly recommend the local Indian, food was great and the owner was superb.

"The cow barn is in a lovely position at the end of Waters Upton village, so quiet and peaceful."
The property was very clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. The old stone stair we found was very unsafe due to the old stone wearing, the stair risers not being the same height along with the tread depth which was uneven and narrow. The beds are very comfortable. We were made very welcome and Emma could not do enough for us.
Mr Bunce we are delighted that you had a great stay with us at The Cow Barn and how comfortable it was. We pride ourselves in great customer service so are happy we helped in anyway we could. We note your comments about the original sandstone staircase however this was relaid by an expert local stonemason, restoring the steps to their original 1810 glory, whilst ensuring they were even tried and depth. Safety is incredibly important to us, as our original features, and hence the stairs were fully approved for safety by our building inspectors in 2019 to modern building standards. If mentioned during the stay we would have of course given the background. We look forward to welcoming you back to Shropshire in the future. Property Owner

"Our second visit to Lower House Barns and we returned to a warm welcome and thoughtful touches from Emma."
We especially enjoyed the spectacular sunsets from the sofa at The Cow Barn. A lovely property, especially well laid out for extended families (sadly not for us this time, due to COVID), but would book this one again if visiting with grandparents. Everything you could possibly need is provided to get your holiday off to a great start. Lots to do close by - Attingham Park, Blists Hill Victorian Village at Ironbridge and our absolute favourite...the stunning Carding Mill Valley (get there early) Shrewsbury is beautiful and less than 30 mins away, but you can also pick up great supplies at the award winning butchers in the village and a fabulous Indian takeaway from the local pub too. Shropshire is a beautiful, undiscovered gem and we will definitely return.

! Arriving on Friday evening to home made cake and fresh milk in the fridge was the most wonderful welcome, topped off by the sweetest hand written note, which set a special tone for a relaxing birthday girly weekend. The place was more spacious than expected, with gorgeous views and much needed peace and quiet. We all had the best time and would happily stay again, thank you so much!

"Well equipped cottage in a quiet location with very little traffic outside the location even though in a farming area."
The only improvement I could think of would be to enclose the rear grass area to make it fully dog friendly but to be honest walking the dogs on lead is not the end of the world. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought, time and effort in to the properties and it does show.

"A spacious and comfortable barn which is spotlessly clean in a quiet and relaxing setting with plenty of parking."
There’s a fab bathroom downstairs with a large walk in shower, the kitchen is well equipped and spacious with doors that slide back and open onto the patio which we loved. The owners were on hand and sent lots of information about the barn and places to visit before our holiday which was great, they also recommended the local butcher who we tried and we would definitely recommend. The wi-fi and Netflix subscription is a great addition and the hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. We had a fantastic time, we would definitely go back again and would 100% recommend.

Met on arrival and brief tour/ explanation of facilities. Welcome book covered everything from the conversion of the property to dog walking routes (including the location of the dog waste bins) and local butchers. Warm and friendly with plenty of space to relax and a lovely family size kitchen and dining area where we were able to cook a proper roast for the whole family (they were right - the local butcher is fab!).
