Illidge Green Barn

This splendid barn conversion nestles peacefully within the countryside of Cheshire, just South of the charming village of Brereton. Split into two welcoming, neutrally decorated cottages sleeping four guests each, this is the ideal spot for couples, friends and family alike to come and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. About the location

BRERETON

Holmes Chapel 2 miles; Sandbach 2.5 miles; Macclesfield 14 miles

A peaceful village on the eastern side of Cheshire, around 13 miles from the Peak District National Park. It's a charming place to base your cottage holiday, providing you with a well-respected gastropub and a convenience store. Brereton is also home to the majestic Grade I listed Elizabethan Brereton Hall. Each year, the village hosts the Brereton Bear Festival, the animal heavily features in Brereton's history. For you more active guests, just outside of the village there is a paintball centre, for more scenic activities, head to the Peak District National Park where you can walk and cycle through wonderful countryside and perhaps spot some wildlife. For a fine range of shops, restaurants and pubs, head to the nearby market town of Sandbach. There is also Macclesfield, slightly further, this larger town is a stunning day out with a choice of parks and some fine buildings to admire.
