  • "What a lovely property."

It was spacious, as described in the advert. The kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended.

  • "We loved our stay at Windy Mundy Farm; it was exactly what we wanted, letting us take advantage of the countryside but also being convenient to get to with taxis."

The place is beautiful and thoughtfully laid out and I would highly recommend people to stay there. The living room is far enough away from all (apart from one) of the bedrooms so it means that people can stay up late socialising and others can go to bed early. The location is beautiful and you can wander round to Pitchford Hall and take in the architecture and grounds there. There's also just a beautiful view of the countryside from the main area in the accommodation and an outdoor table where you can eat al fresco. I'm just disappointed we were there on such hot days so we couldn't make use of the sauna or the lovely fireplace in the living room. Our only issue was that some of the bedroom windows don't open and that was tough considering we were there on the hottest days ever in the UK! We also were a little disappointed there was no salt and pepper or other kitchen basics like baking paper and foil. Those are very mild negatives though as they are just things we hadn't thought about and otherwise the kitchen had everything we needed, even down to multiple caffetieres and an immersion blender.

  • "We had a fabulous time at Windy Mundy Farm, it’s a lovely building, with amazing views, the whole booking process and dealing with the Pitchford people was an easy and pleasant experience."

The annex is looking a little tired and the “games room” has one old billiards table with rips in the top and nothing else, so it’s a bit of a stretch to sell it as such. Apart from that the place was great for our family get together of 15 people.

  • "Stunning property in beautiful countryside."

Perfect for family get togethers due to big living room and two long tables to sit on. Outside decking to enjoy the view from, too. Clearly decorated to a very high standard and with thoughtfulness. Even though some amenities are a bit dated it is even better to enjoy with the whole family. Managing and cleaning team looked after us really well and we enjoyed a peaceful stay that we can recommend wholeheartedly

  • "The property was ideal for our party of 10 adults 1teenager 4 children 2 babies and 3 dogs."

An outside tap would have been useful to clean up the dogs. Guests should be told to bring a sharp knife as those in the property would not even cut vegetables let alone meat. Karen, the manager was very helpful and was able to solve any problems.

  • "Some showers had a weak water pressure therefore couldn’t have a proper shower."

Settees in main leaving area will need replacing. No outside taps or washing facilities for dogs. The main leaving area should have had small tables to place our drinks on. The bathrooms should have had some shelves to store our toiletries. The dust road from the main road to the farm was awful and full of potholes which should be filled in.

  • "Absolutely amazing property in picturesque surroundings."

So peaceful! Plenty of space for so many guests! I would come back in a heartbeat. Only 2 points were that the blind in one of the upstairs bedroom was broken so had to be left closed and the two showers in the main house never got hot but more warm after a few minutes of running but plenty of baths and other facilities which more than made up for this tiny ‘inconvenience’. Please know that this doesn’t taint my experience at all and only being super critical. Overall all our guests were so pleased with the accommodation!

  • "A group of 14 for my partners 40th birthday."

The place was absolutely perfect, exceeded expectations and all the bedrooms were amazing! Comfy beds, clean and a very well equipped kitchen. Spacious but the huge log burner makes the place feel cosy. Honestly couldn't recommend this place enough for a group booking, we will 100% be coming back!!

Despite this great for large family gatherings.

  • "Windy Mundy Farm is a fabulous property, it was spacious and very well equipped with everything we could ever need."

The dining room and living room are very impressive rooms that added a wow factor the our stay. Unfortunately the WIFI didn’t work for us all weekend and the water pressure in the showers was not very strong at all but other than that everything was perfect. I’d like to say a special thank you to their manager Karen, who went out of her way to post two two coats back to us and for her communication over the weekend re the WiFi problems. She was extremely quick at coming back to me and very friendly.

  • "Fantastic place to stay, very spacious and well equipped."

Perfect for dogs, very secure and secluded. Amazing views. Couldn't fault it. So cozy too with the fire lit and room for all 16 if us to spread out or sit around the table.
