The property

The Garden House is a contemporary single storey property, set down a private drive with large cedar gate, in the bustling market town of Shrewsbury.

This stunning home offers a first-class base for families or couples looking to explore the cobbled streets and quaint alleys of the town, along with the glorious Shropshire countryside.

Set entirely across the ground floor, step into the spacious open-plan living area, where you are met by a plush corner sofa and woodburning stove, perfect for a cosy night in after a day of outdoor treks.

Adjoining this cosy setup is the high-spec kitchen, boasting fitted white units and a tiled splashback, amongst of host of integrated appliances to ensure your culinary needs are satisfied.

Dust off those cooking books and rustle up a hearty feast, whilst the rest of the group set the dining table with crockery and cutlery.

Off the kitchen is a convenient utility where you can wash and dry your clothes after a muddy adventure, meaning you won’t have to pack your whole wardrobe!

The second wing of the house is comprised of the three large bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, one with a double bed and one twin room.

Patio doors are in each of the three bedrooms, leading out to the garden.

Whilst the master enjoys a beautifully appointed en-suite shower with double sinks, there is also a family bathroom, perfect for those who like to indulge in a long soak after an action-packed day, or you can step into the walk-in shower and enjoy a refreshing rinse in the morning.

Move outside and enjoy a moment within the enclosed garden, relaxing at the patio furniture as the pooch roams the lawn, or you can even use this space for alfresco dining on a balmy evening!

Acquaint yourself with your enchanting surroundings by ambling through the centre of Shrewsbury, where you can explore the pretty streets lined with restaurants and pubs, including the Anchor, as well as many quirky cafés and delis for a light snack.

Spend time browsing the shops, ranging from some high street names to small businesses, searching for a souvenir to take back home, or you can brush up on local history by visiting Shrewsbury Castle with its military museum and the 18th century Shrewsbury Prison.

Another option is to stroll through Quarry Park, home to the annual Shrewsbury Flower Show or there is the National Trust-owned Attingham Park, which is an 18th century estate with 200 acres of parkland and Regency Mansion to discover.

Filling your holiday itinerary won’t be a problem in this lively location, while the luxury of The Garden House will be welcoming your return each evening.
