    The Parlour has everything you would want with a Lemon drizzle cake and goodies for our Cocker Spaniel supplied by the owners Emma and Ed on our arrival. The Parlour is so peaceful and the location is excellent to explore Shropshire with easy access to major towns, for all your daily needs. Thank you very much for the fabulous hospitality and making a memorable stay at the Parlour in Waters Upton .

The property

The Parlour is a superb barn conversion located in Waters Upton, Shropshire, with nearby historic town of Shrewsbury.

Inside, the property has been renovated to create a contemporary holiday home, while still retaining some of its lovely period features, such as the exposed beams.

Stepping through the front door, you are greeted to a spacious open-plan living space, boasting two sofas, where you can sit and relax after a long day.

Enjoy the benefits of the cosy woodburning stove, for some extra added warmth and the large TV with Netflix so you can re-watch all your favourite shows.

The dining area has seating for up to six people and makes for a wonderful social space, with stunning views across the surrounding countryside.The fitted kitchen has been amply equipped with everything you could need, with plenty of cupboards, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer hob and cooker and wooden worktops to prepare a delicious meal for the whole family.

The property has a separate laundry area with washing machine.

Upstairs has three bedrooms: two king-size, one with an en-suite shower room and one single - perfect for families or a group of friends.

With a family bathroom, with a bath and shower over to choose from, so you can prepare for your day in style.

Outside has a shared lawned garden and stone area with private furniture - a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy the sunrise with a warming cup of tea.

There is off-road parking available for three cars, and fabulous local dog walks While you stay at The Parlour, why not visit the local National Trust Attingham Park?

A historical stately home which has fabulous dog friendly grounds and children's area.There is so much to do here, your little ones won't want to leave!

The Parlour is the perfect base for exploring Shropshire, with a local pub in walking distance, village store and award winning Butchers and Smokery.

Set within a beautiful region of Shropshire, on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, is this quiet little village on the River Tern. Small, yet within easy reach of many notable attractions, this village boasts a church, Post Office and The Lion Inn, serving the very best Indian cuisine. Telford is a large town nearby, named after civil engineer Thomas Telford, with a modern shopping mall and on the southern boundaries is the Ironbridge Gorge, a scenic tourist destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other attractions include, Blists Hill Victorian Town, The Wrekin with hiking trails and kids will love a trip to Wonderland within Telford Town Park.
