“Just spent seven great days with family and two dogs at this beautiful spacious farmhouse.”

There are enough rooms for people to have their own 'space', but we found that we spent most time together in the cosy kitchen. There are enough rooms for people to have their own 'space', but we found that we spent most time together in the cosy kitchen. The views from both kitchen windows are lovely-down the long garden towards the pond, and from the main window overlooking the menage, where there were regular riding lessons to enjoy watching, across to the valley in the distance. The kitchen has everything that you need with the added bonus of the Aga, which was constantly warm. In a separate room there is even a washing machine and tumble drier, should you feel the need.! The bedrooms are all nicely decorated with lovely comfy beds. Externally there are huge, well kept gardens which our dogs loved, and which are completely enclosed. Had the weather been warmer, it would have been a fantastic place to eat outdoors. There is ample parking directly in front of the house. The lovely owner, Robert, lives in the attached barn and he could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Overall, this is a perfect place to get away for a family get-together in beautiful, quiet surroundings. We all want to go back. Soon.
