  • "The cottage was fabulous absolutely top notch and beautifully kept perfect for our stay which was for a wedding at Iscoyd Park."

Showers were wonderful and the bed very comfortable. Nothing to improve at all. Our host Anne-Marie was lovely and on hand for any queries we had. Only wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Anne-Marie for a wonderful stay

  • "We had a lovely stay at 1 Barn Cottages despite having to leave early due to a death in the family."

It is well set up for even the smallest of dogs and that was a huge relief to us - our dogs will always find the weak point in a fence or hedge and there just wasn’t one. The owner’s dogs were a worry but she kept them away and generally out of “our” paddock - except for when they came to visit the folk staying next door. The secure patio area was very helpful. We found all the furnishings and fittings to be of the highest quality and were very comfortable indeed. We loved the remote control shower! Probably the only issue for us was noise from next door - it carries very easily and stopped our dogs from settling, which in turn kept us from fully relaxing. We would go again but would hope that the adjacent property was empty - if you are booking both together then you will have a wonderful time with zero issues!

  • "Fabulous accommodation in a lovely quiet area, so relaxing with wonderful bird song, the hosts are lovely and so helpful."

Perfect for anybody with dogs. We have been twice with our cat, and it worked out very well for him, as Anne-Marie provided a barrier, so we could have the doors open and still keep him secure without his harness on, he also enjoyed exploring the paddock with his harness on. Will definitely return and would recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "Beautiful barn cottage with everything you need."

Comfortable and warm. The main plus for me was the outside area, a paddock that I didn’t have to go down the road to. My dog was safe. The countryside around the property is peaceful and the birdsong superb. The local facilities great and friendly. I would definitely recommend the property, and thank you to the owner for making our stay relaxing and welcoming.
