  • "An absolutely amazing stay at the Stables!"

The house is lovely and has loads of great features including the coolest bath you’ll ever see. We spent most of our time in the house at the kitchen table as the view out the kitchen window is incredible and even better that you get an even better look at the view from the hot tub! Location was ideal for Matlock and Bakewell - only 10/15 mins to both so handy for Chatsworth (literally 5 mins away) and Gullivers Kingdom etc. Owners were easy to deal with and sent videos showing how to work the key appliances which really helps! Would defo recommend the house. Also walking distance to The Smithy which does a great breakfast and even closer to the Derbyshire (though we didn’t try it) . Log burner is also a great feature though given it was 30 degrees when we stayed we gave it a miss!

We had a wonderful stay and are looking to book for Spring/Summer when hopefully it won't be as wet and we can make more use of the hot tub!

  • "The owner provided us with all the required information before our stay via text message and did reply during our stay."

The cottage was really cosy and comfortable. The beds in the cottage were made to our family requirement. The hot tub was amazing and was like cherry on the cake. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had all the equipments for basic cooking. It is located in Beeley village with stunning views from the cottage. The drive way has parking for 2 cars. We went to a cafe The Sticky Fig which is near the cottage and the food was amazing. Sainsbury is 10 minutes drive from the cottage. I cannot stress enough how the owner made our stay comfortable at the cottage.
