  • "Lovely house in a great location we especially liked the conservatory which we used a lot it was nice to sit in and take in the lovely view."

The house was so well equipped and had everything you could possibly want There was plenty of room for the whole family. We all throughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "Highly recommend this property, our family group of 6 adults and 2 young children stayed over New year and had a wonderful time."

The cottage is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well equipped and the location is great. The welcome pack from the owners was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Many thanks indeed Lynn for your excellent feedback, it really does mean a lot to us both as owners. We go out of our way to ensure you have the very best experience and stay with us. • "This is a very comfortable property and perfect for a multi generational family Christmas."

The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed being able to socialise whilst preparing meals. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding and mattresses. We were lovely and warm and enjoyed the views from the conservatory. You can walk from the house to access local footpaths and the village is very well served with an excellent bakery, butcher, general store and an Indian restaurant. Having two different seating areas was useful at times but lounge seating for 5 could be an issue for groups wanting to be together. Likewise the table seats 6 so the bar stools have to be used. Minor issues as this is a lovely property and with family living in Crich we will certainly book again. Communication with the property owner was prompt and very helpful.

Many thanks Susan for your excellent feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and were able to give such a great review. We would of course love to see you back at Col du Crich anytime in future. Happy New Year from us all in Crich. Property Owner

  • "I would recommend this cottage to friends and relatives."

I have been very harsh with my feedback, as there are always 'minor' things that could be improve. But, overall the property was very good and full of 'what a holiday maker' might wish for. Thank you.

Thank you Nigel for your honest feedback and recommendation to friends and family. We strive to make improvements as we progress through our first year and would welcome any feedback. I will ask Rachel to follow up on the “minor things” with you if that’s ok? It would be great to see you and your family/friends again in the future at Col du Crich… Property Owner

  • "I did mention the larger blind which had a snapped cord so couldn’t go up in twin room."

Some floor tiles in the bathroom had cracks in etc but this did not affect my stay. Having the breakage bond was a worry as there were small issues like the cracks which were already there. The house was lovely and a good position. Lovely views. Great size tv. Would be good to have seating for 8 in living room. Maybe a large sofa along back wall as tv was big enough to see from there. Great instructions etc. on text message and folder and app. couldn’t see instructions though whether to strip beds or not? Thank you. We would stay again.

Thank you for your feedback it’s very important to us, we are aware of the blind but not aware of the cracks in bathroom tiles. Both are being dealt with today. We would have loved to have more soft seating in the Lounge but did not want to overload the Lounge with extra seating. We feel the house lends itself better to having comfortable seating for more than eight split between the Lounge and Conservatory. We are really pleased to hear you would stay with us again at Col du Crich. Property Owner
