  • "We had a well needed rest in your lovely cottage."

Everything was clean, tidy and warm. All the basics we needed were provided. We chose to stay in and spend time cooking rather than eating out but enjoyed walking the dog across the stunning countryside.

Thank you so much Rachel. Delighted you had a well needed rest. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is beautiful."

The owner has taken the time to add some really nice special touches - like milk tea and coffee on arrival. There were even fresh flowers! It is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. And it's a perfect place to explore the peaks - I cannot recommend it more. The log fire and bath are particular highlights. As well as the top floor cinema room Will definitely visit again

Thank you so much Charlotte. You were perfect guest and we are over the moon that you enjoyed it so much. Property Owner

Good base for exploring the surrounding area too. Particularly enjoyed Victoria Tower at Castle Hill, Marsden Moor and Standedge Canal. Always appreciate milk, tea, coffee and biscuits left by owners to start you off. Comfy bed, loved the bath and plenty of fluffy towels. Enjoyed relaxing in the snug in the eaves. A thoroughly enjoyable week.

The location was perfect with walks and pubs within a stones throw of the back door. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners who had restored the property through lockdown from a roofless derelict building to something truly unique.
