  • "We were very happy with the property."

It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The owner was just next door so it would have been easy if we had had problems, but we didn’t need to trouble them.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, this is very much appreciated. We are pleased to read that you found The Old Bakery Barn, met with your high standards. We have stayed in many 'holiday lets', and endeavour to reach the highest of standards we have experienced. We are close by, so are able to offer any advice to our guests. We are not intrusive, but want our guests to have a quality stay in our property and get the most out of the beautiful Peak District National Park. Property Owner

  • "The Old Barn was ideal for the two of us."

It was comfortable and well-equipped. It was good to meet the owner Ken and get some ideas for our stay. The area is lovely, with lots of walks from the village. We ate at the Bull's Head and at the Farmyard Inn - both served good food at fair prices.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We try to ensure all our guests are given a ‘home from home’ in our accommodation. We are pleased to read you enjoyed your stay and found the village had all the amenities you hoped for. Property Owner

The heating was more than adequate. There was an ample supply of local information provided be it walks, sightseeing or whatever took your fancy, including places to eat. Ken went out of his way to arrange for us to meet up with a couple of people in the village to help in our Family History research. I have no hesitation in recommending the Old Bakery Barn.
