  • "We had an excellent short break at Ottilie."

The house is immaculately presented and I can’t fault anything. Warm, comfy, well equipped and attention to detail everywhere. The house is only a 4 minute walk over the stream and into the village with a useful Co-Op and great pubs. A Great location with walks from the door. We walked to the next village, Castleton, for lunch which took less than an hour. Highly recommended.

  • "What a fabulous holiday base."

Walks from the house, pubs in the village and shops within 5 minute walk. Beds and furniture very comfy and spotlessly clean. Everything you need to have a perfect break, games room with table football, air hockey, play station, board games etc if the weather is not favourable. Located close to Hope and Castleton and if you are into hiking there's plenty of choice for scenic routes within a short distance. Many thanks.

  • "Fantastic house and facilities."

Everything in the house is top notch, you have thought of everything and the welcome pack is excellent. The only downside can’t be helped and that is just that the estate is so new the road hasn’t been finished yet so is quite a bumpy drive to the house. All in all an excellent, comfortable stay and I would highly recommend your property to anyone. Thankyou Kevin, Fiona and Barney

  • "Excellent well equipped big house with quality bedding and tasteful furniture."

Lovely kitchen dining area opening out onto a secure enclosed garden. Games room and additional spare room for youngsters. House new and complete, but road and paths under construction whilst we were there. Some disturbance and a skip directly outside didn't help. Shouldn't be a problem once finished. Great base for touring area, couple of pubs and chip shop within walking distance. Handy Co-op, store and bakery nearby.

  • "We (two adults and three kids 5,8 & 13) had an amazing stay at Ottilie which was a fantastic home away from home."

The kids absolutely loved the games room (lots of competitive fun on the games tables!) and the snug. Ottilie had everything we needed and was immaculate and very comfortable. Its location in Bradwell is great, the village has many amenities (a local store, a co-op, fish and chip shop, bakery come occasional pizza take-away, three pubs and two great play parks) and is a super base to explore the Peak District. Will definitely recommend and would love to return.

  • "The property was absolutely amazing!"

Great for our weekend away with friends. Very clean and tidy and the decor is stunning. Not far from the local co-op and short car to Sheffield. Was a very enjoyable stay and cannnot wait to come back!

  • "Fantastic property - well-equipped and comfortable, as well as spotlessly clean."

Only thing I would have liked is something like a wooden spoon, for cooking, as the big serving spoons weren't ideal for this (and I didn't want to use metal on the nice pans!!)

Hello Sarah -- I am really pleased you enjoyed your stay at Ottilie. Thank you for the feedback - that is a good point regarding the wooden spoons - I will rectify that. Not being a cook it passed me by! Best Wishes Michelle Property Owner

  • "This is a beautiful new build home on a small estate in Bradwell."

We had a wonderful week away. Thank you for the wine & welcome pack! We would have liked a few more instructions on using the cooker please.

  • "A wonderful two week stay at the property, despite the unusual excessive rain."

Lots to see in the area & had many great days out. The owners had definitly gone that extra mile to ensure that the property was spotlessly clean, lacking nothing in facilities & very comfortable indeed. Highly recommended.

Dear Stuart, Many thanks for your positive feedback it is very much appreciated. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday - we are very sorry about the weather. We will try harder next time! Best Wishes Michelle & Mark Property Owner
