The cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable and it was warm and cosy in the evenings with the log fire burning. There was everything at hand should we need it and the owners were very helpful and friendly. It was great to be able to use the swimming pool. The view from the living room is amazing! The photos on the website do not do the inside of the cottage justice.

The property

This single storey, detached cottage is located in the village of Penistone.

Pleasant and welcoming, this retreat is spacious enough for all the family to enjoy.

Wander inside to the light and airy hallway.

This leads over to a sitting room hosting a gas wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy nights in.

The deep red sofa's bring a touch of vibrancy to the room so you can relax in style.

A twin bedroom rests close by, divided by a wardrobe which stands in the centre of the room.

Neighbouring this, a double bedroom mirrors the style of the previous, and comes complete with an en-suite bathroom.

A family shower room is a delightful place to get ready in the morning, well arranged for your convenience.

Close by, a well equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing those home cooked meals, before sitting down at the dining table amongst the peace and quiet.

French doors from the sitting and dining area, take you out to a pretty patio area where you can make the most of a sunny afternoon with a refreshing drink.

For an extra touch, a swimming pool is available for use when not hired out to swimming clubs and the owner can confirm specified times; sure to make a lovely addition to your holiday.

There is plenty to see in this spectacular location.
