“Totally regardless of covid situation, I expect a so called 4* accommodation to be ‘clean’.”

Given that people have not been able to stay at these places for best part of 18 months, lots of time to clean, put right any flaws, faults etc. We are in our 60s, husband made redundant because of covid, desperate to get our family together (as our son and family live few hours away) we spent over £4,500 of hard earned money. The cleanliness was none appalling. Fire extinguisher with pin missing and almost empty. Rope stair rail hanging off the wall. Filth down the side of a single bed our ...

The cleanliness was none appalling. Fire extinguisher with pin missing and almost empty. Rope stair rail hanging off the wall. Filth down the side of a single bed our grandson slept in. Cobwebs on the front of a wardrobe. Weak, very hot or very cold uncontrollable showers, a tray of old bacon fat, filthy inside of a cupboard with food left by other people, a hinge on top of fire door with no screw causing problem to shut door, I could go on. How on earth this is in any way acceptable for the rating you give it. People need to see ‘real, up to date photos and see real reviews. I would like to share photos/videos which we will on various review sites We made the best of a bad situation
