Primitive Croft Cottages

A group of three terraced cottages situated in the peaceful village of Chelmorton, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. These lovely terraced cottages have the charm of a traditional cottage and the contemporary feel of a modern property. Beautifully furnished throughout they have a traditional stone exterior and stone flooring with the luxury of underfloor heating. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with 55” TV where you can curl up in front of the woodburner and watch your favourite film. Upstairs the cottages offer comfortable bedrooms with all of them being en-suite. Each cottage has its own private outdoor area and guests also have shared use of the owner's 3 acre paddock just 50 yards away, perfect for walking dogs or family games. Located in the Peak District National Park, there is plenty to do whether it is country pursuits, visiting stately homes or browsing the shops in nearby Buxton or Bakewell. These cottages offer an ideal base for a relaxing break at any time of the year.

The property

This large one bedroom cottage provides an ideal spot for a romantic break for a couple wishing to explore this part of the country.

There is an open plan living area which includes a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area with comfortable seating.

The room is heated with underfloor heating with the delight of additional heating from the woodburner.

For added flexibility there is also a cloakroom downstairs.

Upstairs there is a large king-size bedroom with an en-suite Jacuzzi bath with hand-held shower.

Outside there is a rear private enclosed patio with lawned area and a front enclosed gravel path.

An ideal base for a relaxing break at any time of the year.

The ancient, picturesque and peaceful village of Chelmorton is situated in the heart of the Peak National Park.

The village boasts a lovely pub which serves excellent food.

Chelmorton has a fascinating historic landscape of 'fossil' arable strips enclosed within drystone walls and the village has a lovely medieval church of St John the Baptist.

Surrounded by superb walking country and within easy reach of the popular centres of Buxton and Bakewell. .
