This cottage was the worst cottage we have stayed in with Sykes we only had one tea plate and when wanted a bowl to make some egg mayo we found dead spiders in the bowl and when I got a pan to boil eggs for breakfast it was dirty and cobweb on the handle. When we arrived the temp in the cottage was 25 degrees and to cool down we had open all the windows that would open on the following day the heating only worked in the morning but that seemed alright as it was warm enough having been so hot the night before the next day we were out all day and never noticed until the following mornig that we had no hot water or heating so we called the owner who fired the boiler up manually and left to return some time later to check all was well we asked what to do if the temperature remained at 25 degrees and he said open a window. We left a day early because of the above and the weather. We another cottage booked for September with you we look forward to better things.
