00pm. On first entering the property it’s clear to see the charm and unique setting it has, tastefully decorated with all the facility’s you would need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The two rooms are well set and comfortable beds. The Bathroom is well equipped with its rolled top bay and separate walk in shower having either a fixed Rain Shower head of a traditional flexible rose on hose set up. Pleanty of high quality super soft towels available. The lounge was comfortable with the log fire a plentiful supply of logs should you need them. Perfect to relax after a long day. We sat out in the garden and all the birds start to sing to you, along with the sound of baby chicks in one of the nest boxes in the trees. Just a short walk into town with all the facility’s you need, fairly large Supermarket and two smaller ones, lots of individual shops too. All round perfect for a relaxing holiday or a good base to go out and about, Fully recommend this property and will try to return in the future. Many Thanks for the opportunity to stay.

  • "The cottage is extremely cosy and decorated and fitted to a very high spec."

We weren't lucky with the weather unfortunately BUT it didn't matter as you knew you were coming back to such a warm home. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. There were plenty of leaflets in the cottage on things to do and visit but the owners would recommend the places they find good. We followed all their recommendations and weren't disappointed. The welcome bottle of wine and locally baked cake and pint of milk are just examples of how they want people to feel welcome. We have been renting cottages for many years now and this cottage is one of the best. There is a lot to do in the area whether you like walking or enjoy museums. If you are unsure of where to visit then just book this cottage.
