Plover And Curlew Cottages

A pair of charming stone cottages, quietly resting within the small hamlet of Ollerbrook, situated near the village of Edale. These cottages are situated within a rural location, with breath-taking views of the surrounding areas and spacious interiors, making an ideal base for a group celebration or a walking holiday retreat. Plover Cottage is a spacious property, featuring modern facilities and a contemporary interior design. Curlew Cottage is a cosier cottage, hosting two bedrooms, with a seamless blend of contemporary and traditional design. Both cottages boast well-equipped kitchens and cosy sitting rooms displaying charming fire places with warming woodburning fires. All the bedrooms house an elegant atmosphere, ensuring a relaxing retreat for all guests after a long day exploring the area. Outside, guests can enjoy a well-maintained shared garden to come together as a group, as well as a private garden with a seating area for enjoying the summer evenings. The local pubs can be found within the village of Edale, situated within a 6-minute walk, where the village houses two pubs, two cafes, fish and chip shop as well as a village store. The village of Edale is an ideal base for an adventurous getaway, with the popular walking area of Mam Tor and Kinder Scout on the doorstep. Other activities include Blue John Cavern which is a beautiful illuminated limestone cave and further afield is the Poole's Cavern and Country Park, where you can take a stroll to Grin Low and Solomon's Temple viewpoint. The cottages are guaranteed to provide a welcoming base for unwinding in the evening.

Curlew Cottage is a stone, end-terrace cottage, resting with the small hamlet of Ollerbrook, near the village of Edale.

This quaint cottage plays host to an open-plan living area, comprising of a well-appointed kitchen, formal dining area and a cosy sitting room, boasting a warming wood burning stove, oozing character and charm.

Follow the carpeted stairs up to the first floor, where you will find two brightly-decorated bedrooms, including a double bed and a single bedroom, both beautifully presented.

EDALE

Castleton 4 miles; Buxton 9 miles.

The pretty High Peak village of Edale nestles at the foot of Kinder Scout, within the Peak District National Park. The village has two pubs - both serving food - a village Post Office/general store, a Moorland Visitors Centre and (close by) a railway station. Edale is the start of the famous Pennine Way and all around is excellent walking for all abilities! Nearby is the popular village of Castleton with its Blue John Caves. The spa town of Buxton, with its many amenities, is within easy reach.
