“The cottage was very well equipped and provided an excellent base for exploring the nearby Dales and attractions.”

The games room was very useful to keep 3 competitive teenagers amused and there was plenty of space for a group of 8 people to relax in comfort. All-in-all a very realxing and refreshing trip.

Unsliven Bridge Farm Cottages

These two stunning houses are situated adjacent to the Little Don River, on the edge of the town of Stocksbridge, close to the beautiful Peak District National Park. Both of these properties can be booked separately but present a fabulous opportunity for larger parties and with that in mind the owner has provided extra facilities to cater for up to 22 guests. Originally barns dating back to the 1600s, these superb properties are now luxurious holiday homes that provide an ideal base for families or groups of friends looking to celebrate a special occasion. The attention to detail in both of these welcoming houses are obvious from oak and glass staircases, Porcelanosa tiles and sanitary ware and underfloor heating throughout. Most of the delightful bedrooms have window seats and the both houses offer a glimpse of their past with original beams preserved here and there. To add icing to the cake, the larger property, Unsliven Bridge Farm Cottage has a wonderful hot tub, just perfect for relaxing in after another perfect day. As a base, the area is unbeatable presenting a superb choice of places to visit. Stocksbridge itself has a number of shops and pubs, and from these delightful houses you can access the Peak District National Park for long rambles across breathtaking open countryside, sample some of the country's grandest stately homes by visiting Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, or you may wish to explore the Last of the Summer Wine Country. Two quality holiday homes that will appeal to everyone in your party.

The other part on the ground floor consists of a bathroom and the living areas, one of which is open plan and incorporates a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and the other is separate and has a warming gas fire.
