Access through electric gates and somewhere for all guests to park was great and being able to access two paddocks and a 4 acre field (there is another which has horses in) was unbelievable.
Nicely located just outside Riddings easily accessible from the M1 North or Southbound and the beauty of Derbyshire within easy driving distance to places such as Bakewell, Buxton and Chesterfield and if you want the Cities then Derby and Nottingham again not too far.
Little Willow has a superbly well equipped kitchen and waiting for our arrival a beautiful welcome pack with welcome card, the TV, DVD & WiFi were all excellent, the bathroom having a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail with towels provided, and the bed is so comfortable too!
Plenty of cupboards and wardrobe space along with handy instructions on how things work and a myriad of information leaflets for the surrounding area and attractions.
Patio doors looked onto a walled fully secure gravelled garden with raised area with table and chairs, an ideal area for the dogs and has all the floor area is wood laminated there's no worry about trailing paws, a bucket, mop and even a vacuum all provided.....and if you feel a chill just turn up the radiators and the heat is instant.
Embarrassingly we left all our heavy coats in the wardrobe! John rang to advise but having driven 95 miles he agreed to parcel and post for us, they arrived in a box all beautifully folded...thank you John and Sue that was so much appreciated.
These owners have literally thought of everything to make your stay memorable and take the time to introduce themselves to see that all is OK, they live in the fabulous adjacent buildings so never far away if there was an issue.
Don't be put off by the Studio arrangement has the bedroom area is tastefully segregated from the living area and the kitchen around the corner so out of sight...it's all been very cleverly well thought through.
We can't recommend Little Willow enough and if visiting Derbyshire again if would be a 'no brainer' to us not to book again.
