“On arriving at Skei’s place, the cottage was set in lovely surroundings, off a busy main road, very secure all round , which was peace of mind having our dog with us.”
On entering there was a vey useful boot room, which we found very useful having a dog, and being so muddy.
On entering the kitchen there was a lovely welcome pack, which included a bag of treats for our rescue dog, which was a lovely touch.
Our only disappointment was the cleaning let it down, especially the shower room, lots of hair on the floor around skirtings, and edge of the shower, the shower head obviously hadn’t been cleaned, to rinse my hair probably it was impossible, but gave it a good scrub to find it more powerful, not sure if it had been hoovered recently in the lounge, and remote control was dirty too.
Having being on a busy road and no footpath, it was impossible , to go on a walk with a dog, you had to use the car.
Our visit to Ashbourne was very disappointing, not what we expected due to being run down, and very little shops open.
