“Lovely cottage, sympathetically restored, and squeezes a lot in a small space, had everything that was needed, was lovely when the sun streamed in, really enjoyed our few days there, perfect for a winter holiday” Items not for publication i) was cold when we got there, was surprised some heating hadn’t been put on before arrival, took about 2 hours to warm up and it wasn’t a really cold winters day, sun had been out- just something to think about. Would be tremendous if mock stove could be replaced with real one , but this may not be possible? ii) sink is surprisingly chipped and stained, and washing up bowl was also very well used and scuffed, neither of them felt like you would want to wash up in there, so much so that we went out and bought a new bowl before we washed up. Sorry to criticise, but it was the one sad point in an otherwise perfectly clean cottage iii) understand lighting is in keeping with character of cottage, but it is a little too diim in the living area, for reading, knitting, or doing the jigsaw provided, maybe just slightly higher wattage bulbs would help?
