  • "Uncomfortable and furnished with the bare minimum to make a holiday stay e."

    G. their were no bowls or toilet roll. The furniture was uncomfortable. The fridge was leaking and the TV did not always work. The mattresses on the single beds were poor quality, almost like sponge. There were no hangers in the wardrobe, or any bin in the bathroom. No welcome book to give you instructions of local amenities. Noisy beyond belief from the road and stank of cigarette smoke from the apartment below.

I have been down to the property today to check it for todays check in and I can confirm that bowls are in the property however I have taken even more down. Today there is 6 x toilet rolls in preparation for the arrival of today's guest. I can confirm we do have an issue with TV aerials on many of the properties which is something we are trying to deal with at the minute. Property Owner

  • "The code for key collection was not sent in time for check in."

I text the number listed on the website to ask about it but received no reply and then received the email an hour after check in time. There was no sponge and washing up liquid to wash dishes with and this was not listed as something we'd need to bring. I text the number again but received no reply. The bed in the double room was nice but the twin bedroom beds were extremely uncomfortable. The apartment is a good location.

  • "Appartement and furniture isn't in great condition but acceptable."

The appartment is spacious and has a lovely view on the river. It is somewhat noisy as it is above the A6, with a lot of motor cycles traffic (at least during our stay). It is a great location to start walks in the surrounding area and is really close to the train station. Note that there aren't any supermarkets in Matlock Bath.
