• "Lovely cottage, everything you needed."

  Clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome basket for us and a treat for the dog too. Close to Alton Towers, so handy to drop kids off and lovely walks close by with the dog

• "We loved our stay at middle cottage as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, it is well appointed, comfortable, clean and the owners are great."

  I was worried about being in the middle house and how noise levels may be, but we never heard a peep from anyone. The shower is fantastic! The kitchen has everything you could need. The view is beautiful. We will be looking forward to staying again when we are next coming to visit Alton Towers.

• "The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable."

  It was very well equipped with everything that we needed. It is in a lovely rural location with wildlife in abundance. We laid in bed listening to the owls and were even visited by a woodpecker. Although rural, the cottage is in a great location to explore the area and only a short drive to Alton Towers.

• "Middle Cottage is lovely."

  The owner’s, Heidi and Bob, have thought of everything you may need during your stay. The views from the cottage are stunning, lovely walks (even though we haven’t ventured too far due to the weather). Cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished, it’s cosy and perfect for our interim stay whilst our house purchase goes through. Highly recommended.

• "Very comfortable and cosy cottage."

  We were solely there to visit Alton Towers, so the proximity was perfect. Got a bit wet during our day out and were very happy to have a cosy warm house to come back to after a long day of queuing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing additional information. Wonderful cottage, highly recommend for a family.

• "Perfect little cottage in a beautiful location."

  Clean and bright with all the amenities a family of four required. Lovely friendly hosts - the kids demolished the popcorn as soon as we arrived, while the tea and milk was thoroughly appreciated by us parents and not forgetting our little doggie who was also welcomed with treats! Fantastic location for our daily jolly to Alton Towers as well as wonderful country walks. Will definitely try to rebook when we return. :-)

• "Easy to book through Sykes."

  Middle Cottage was perfect for us, it's in a quiet, peaceful location with lovely views and under 15 minutes from Alton Towers. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

• "The Cottage was amazing and much more than could we could have expected, Heidi was available anytime if we had any problems which off course we didn't everything was perfect - The facilities in the cottage were spotless and we had everything we needed and much more."

  The Beds and pillows were so comfortable. The location was amazing for all our needs. The scenery was outstanding from the front of the cottage with the best views. I walked round the village at least 4 miles each morning with our Husky which she loved with the best fresh air, peacefulness and the best scenery. Then we spent 2 days at Alton Towers which is a lovely 2.5 miles drive straight from the cottage. There is a wee local bar/restaurant which is on the door step however you would never have and it as tucked away 3 mins walk from the front door of the cottage. Lovely to take pets and have a wee beverage or meal. Heidi and Bob have made this cottage as a labour of love you can tell as soon as you step inside was definitely home away from home. Me, my husband, 9 year old Boy and our Energetic Husky had the best time ever and was lovely to see the welcoming card and treats along with a list of Heidi and Bob's recommendations from food and drinks, local shops to visit, tourist sights and me and Lunas favourite lovely walk recommendations amongst lots of all the information to make a lovely enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a visit. Will be back again soon and look forward to it already.
