“We have stayed in this accommodation 4 times as it suits our needs in visiting an elderly friend 2 miles away.”

It is beautifully warm and has two en suite bedrooms- there are three of us - and although it is by the A6 we are not really troubled by the noise. It is a busy road to cross and although I have mobility problems I have always coped with it. The kitchen is small but we only really use it for breakfast so it doesn’t worry us. It is also very reasonably priced and I expect to continue to use it in the future.

The property

A lovely property, set on the main road close to Cromford and giving excellent access to the whole of the Peak District and the Derbyshire Dales.

All ground floor and converted from what was a Bed and Breakfast, this cottage is attached to the owners' own home, but boasts its own entrance and privacy.

The cottage is accessed directly into the useful hallway, which leads guests down to the kitchen, which is small but equipped with every essential item required.

From the hallway, you will find the lovely sitting room with beams and a dining area and from the sitting room, a light and airy corridor leads to two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms.

This really is an excellent location for walkers and anyone wanting good access to the whole of Derbyshire, making a lovely place to stay, all year round.
