    Mr Probert

“A beautiful little cottage which was clean and comfortable for the two of us plus the dog.”

Perfectly located for the Ashbourne, Buxton, Matlock triangle with all the villages inbetween. On a very busy corner but not an issue with the door closed, though I could envisage a parking problem in the summer months. Thanks for a lovely week and apologies to the owner for not leaving comments in the book but my pen had dried out, would have been all good.

Surrounded by lovely rolling countryside and situated close to the excellent watersport facilities at Carsington Water, this great location provides the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. Nearby Ashbourne is the perfect example of an English market town, boasting an eccentric street plan, narrow, cobbled alleys, old market stalls, many fine coaching inns and a good selection of restaurants, whilst being regarded as something of a haven for antique hunters.
