  • "We came to The Brambles for a second time with family, we really enjoyed ourselves."

Very clean and the Kitchen is well equiped to cook a Christmas Dinner. The Lounge is cosy with soft throws and the beds are comfortable, we all slept well. We loved the hot tub! Views are amazing! One thing though, the hot tub lid does block the view and the sunset, its a shame its not on the right, that way it would offer a little privacy from the guests in the other lodge. We had a lovely chat with the owner, who is kind and accomodating. Overall, we would happily return to the Brambles.

It was lovely to see you again ladies so glad you enjoyed your stay with us again its great when we have such nice girls who meet up for a Christmas get together. Just a note about the hot tub for most of the year the sun set is over in the west so if the lid was on the right hand side for 80% of the year you would not be able to watche the sunset from the tub, the people in the lodge are facing to the sunset ant they cannot see guests from the barn in their tub/seating area. thank you again and we hope to see you soon Property Owner

  • "Lovely location."

Difficult to find, if using sat nav put it Brambles Barn rather than the postcode (as 2 farms share the same postcode and it takes you to the wrong one). The facilities were ok, but a few things didn’t work. For example the downstairs walk-in shower, knob for temperature control on the cooker, no instructions how to adjust the jets on the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi lid blocks the beautiful view but leaves you exposed/overlooked by neighbouring properties. All little things, but when added together not what i would expect for the cost. I have stayed in a few places similar to this and unfortunately would not stay here again.

  • "We had the most wonderful stay at Brambles Barn."

We received a very warm welcome from Heather who was available throughout our stay should we need anything. However the accommodation was faultless. We can’t wait to return again next year! Our little son Brodie loves animals and the cows, sheep, ducks, chickens and cat had him mesmerised!

Thank you you were lovely guests who wanted to engage with us as hosts which is what we like to do, some guests don't want to do this, we are friendly people who like a chat! Property Owner
