  • "That was the most terrible mattress I have ever experienced."

neither of us were able to sleep the whole time we were there. we even contemplated leaving early. it had the noisiest duvet!!! and I was allergic to the pillows. the hot tub was in a wind tunnel and when it was blowing strong we couldn't go in. apart from that, the views were breath taking, and the owner was extremely friendly

  • "It was a beautiful location and a great glamping experience - everything a family could need was provided."

I was pleasantly surprised to see even a cloth stand with pegs and a hair dryer provided. The sofa was very comfortable. The bathroom was more spacious than we expected in a pod and there was a very clever dining table set. It was a cozy stay. We loved having the chickens around - felt close to nature. The only points of improvement would be : The double bed mattress was very cheap, springy and least comfortable after a long day of physical activity. The hot tub was hands down the star attraction of our stay but it felt pretty wasteful for it to be ON the whole time. If the energy used there had a switch control in the pod, it could be used for something else or saved when the hot tub is not in use. The WiFi was useless. Thankfully we had lots of mobile data so didn't affect us but would warn prospective guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and if you get it an affordable price, it's well worth it.

The mattress was not cheap and is less than 2 years old. The hot tub has to switch off at 10.30pm for insurance purposes. We are not allowed to have it on after because of people getting drunk and having accidents some people are not always responsible. As for the Wifi, we are only on copper wire service and the maximum speed is 3.5 mbps download and no upload speed. Unfortunately this is not within our control. Property Owner
