  • "Fabulous weekend away , making special memories with my family."

The house is fabulous with everything you could possibly need. The owner was very informative before our visit and went beyond to meet our special requests. Thank you Emma it meant so much to us. Can not recommend highly enough how wonderful this house is and the high speck of finishing is truly amazing. … underfloor heating was great! Book this property without hesitation, you will not regret it :-)

I’m so glad you and your Sisters had such a lovely weekend. Can’t wait to Welcome you back x Property Owner

  • "Lovely 3 night stay at this property."

Very clean and had everything you need. Lovely surroundings with a really nice view. The only thing I will say is that the mattresses are becoming worn and we’re a bit uncomfortable but other than that the stay was amazing.

Hi Victoria, thank you for your feedback, I will examine all the beds as they are not yet 12 months old, so mattresses should still be tip top? I will investigate further, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Property Owner

  • "This is a beautiful well equipped holiday home."

The linen and towels are hotel quality. It’s a modern spacious home that exceeded our expectations. The house would comfortably sleep eight and has plenty of space in every room. The location is ideal for Alton towers, a matter of 10 minutes away. Spotlessly clean which is my number one like. I never actually met the host Emma but she sent me emails and messages regarding the holiday let. I messaged one night to see if she knew if owls were near by and she promptly replied. She gave the impression that should I have needed her she would have been available immediately. But I had no reason to require any assistance. I believe the test of a good holiday home is would I recommend to my family and the answer is a resounding yes. I already have. Thanks to Emma for a wonderful stay, we may be back one day.

  • "A very well presented holiday home for us two families with children."

They loved to play table tennis in the downstairs garage as well as to explore up and down in the back yard. A convenient location to travel around in the area, close to quite a few walking trails and Alton tower. The hot tub is a bonus after a day’s walk in the mountains, felt so comfy and relaxing! Very good communication from the owner prior and during the stay.

  • "This is a stylish, modern, comfortable house."

Plus the many personal touches by the owner made it feel very welcoming indeed. We were a party of 4 adults and used it as a base for our walking holiday in the southern dales. It was a treat to come back each day and use the hot tub. The property is spotless which felt safe and good during Covid-19 times. There is also a lovely view from the front of the house Only small downside is there is some traffic noise from the road at the front of the house when the windows are open, but it did not spoil our stay. I would certainly recommend this property.

  • "We had the most amazing family holiday at La Maison and were so sad to leave."

A beautiful house - even more beautiful and spacious than in the photos! Incredibly well equipped kitchen (which was handy for our family Come Dine With Me nights!) - so many thoughtful touches too. Emma and her husband were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel thoroughly welcome. A perfect base to get out and see stunning parts of the countryside! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone; we’d love to go back in future.

Perfect for a family holiday with lots to do within easy reach. The owners were very friendly and helpful and have obviously put a lot of thought into all the extras provided in the very well equipped house. The hot tub was an added bonus that everyone enjoyed using. We will definitely return.
