Absolutely fantastic cottage in lovely village. The Chapel has been lovingly restored to modern standards but retaining it's character. Liz and Garry were wonderful hosts and made us very welcome, lovely welcome pack awaited us on arrival. They also were great with advice on places to go, you would however struggle to not find anything to do in this lovely part of the UK. Lovely peaceful location with friendly neighbour who told us that we mustn't miss the Ashover Mayday. The best village fete we have seen, such a wonderful community spirit. PS Garry is one of the stars in it. Hopefully we will return soon because we loved it. Barbecue is also in the sitting area so bring some burgers. I never have booked a cottage without a log fire but there is an authentic electric one which you would never know could be so good. We had lovely weather so only put it on to see how good it was, best part no cleaning. Recently listed so not a lot of feedback, we took a chance, what a charm 10 out of 10
