This sumptuous, open-plan layout benefits from cosy underfloor heating and a woodburning stove for the cooler weather, while the high vaulted ceilings and first-class fixtures and fittings help to bring a rejuvenating, modern feel.

Sparkling granite worktops, slick integrated kitchen appliances and a fresh wooden dining table provide a touch of class.

Take the stairs to reach the gallery-style first floor, with the open aspect filling the accommodation with glorious natural light, with the barn's original wooden beams bringing the interior together in a rustic and charming way.

The bedrooms are all fabulously well-decorated; one of two double bedrooms benefits from the use of a contemporary en-suite shower room, while the spacious en-suite master room comes with a king-size bed and enjoys views of the golf course.

A luxurious family bathroom concludes the interior exquisitely, this top-of-the-range room features a classy freestanding bath and a separate walk-in shower, with an exposed stone wall contrasting with the modern fittings beautifully.

Marvel in this serene location from the comfort of the south-facing lawn garden, where you can take a seat at any time of day and fully unwind.

Alternatively, kick back on the patio areas to the side or the rear of Oak Cottage and sip an ice-cold drink while watching the keen golfers play their round.
