The property

Morridge View is a magnificent barn conversion in a stunning rural location just a few miles outside of Leek, within the delightful little village of Onecote nearby.

Boasting a spacious interior, exceptional views of the rolling hillside and verdant green pastures enveloping the property; this is the ideal place to bring family and friends on a relaxing break in the country.

Additional seating crowds around a large dining table, and the lounge area boasts three sumptuous sofas, for you to snuggle together in the evenings and watch a good film on the impressive wall-mounted TV.

Conveniently, there is also a double room on the ground floor for those with limited mobility, alongside a large wet room with modified fittings.

Upstairs enjoys a splendid assortment of bedrooms accommodating high-quality soft furnishings, making your holiday as comfortable as possible.

The king-size double and double rooms feature en-suite facilities whilst the super king-size rooms offer zip/link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Wander out in the garden located at the back of this Staffordshire cottage; the slabbed patio boasts two picnic benches and relaxing seating so you can laze the day away in peace, with peace and tranquillity surrounding you.

You also have access to the owners' fields, where there will be lambs in the spring time.

If you don't fancy cooking for the evening, head down to Onecote and enjoy a delicious meal at The Jervis Arms country pub, and for many more eateries and real ale pubs, the vibrant town of Leek can be accessed easily by car.

There are many attractions and landmarks to visit in the surrounding area, not forgetting the Peak District National Park and its fantastic landscape.

The town has a charming cobbled market place and there are many examples of fine Victorian architecture influenced by William Morris - a reminder of the town’s prosperity when it was renowned as a silk manufacturing centre. Today Leek offers a wide selection of shops and a good selection of restaurants, a local park and leisure facilities and real ale pubs. Situated close to Three Shires Head, the meeting point of the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, Leek is near to Tatton Park, Styal County Park and Gawsworth Hall, plus Alton Towers is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away.
