“We spent 4 night at Corfton Cottage over Christmas.”

Beautiful sparkling clean cottage with all amenities, well equipped kitchen. Access to games room to play table tennis, snooker or darts. Tim and Sally even provided us with a Christmas tree and mince pies upon arrival. Great location for Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Ironbridge or The Bog. Would highly recommend.

Goosefoot Barn Cottages

Diddlebury 1.5 miles. Four wonderfully furnished barn conversions, along with the owner's home, form the Goosefoot Barn complex. Resting peacefully in the Corvedale Valley in the Shropshire Hills AONB, the properties are just one and a half miles from the village of Diddlebury. Named after towns and villages in the local area, these barns retain the original wooden cladding, exposed wooden beams and stunning stone walls to add character and charm to your stay. They all come with cosy sitting rooms, accompanied by comfortable seating and soothing fires to keep you warm. There are charming dining tables and amply equipped kitchens to use at your leisure. Most of the bedrooms at Goosefoot Barn are en-suite; Muslow Cottage is designed ideally for those with limited mobility and Corfton Cottage comes with the added luxury of a first floor balcony, offering views towards Clee Hill on the horizon. You won't get bored on rainy days with the well-stocked games room boasting a snooker table, table tennis and a dart board to keep you occupied. The owner offers the hire of their luxury all-weather BBQ cabin, with enough seating for everybody, along with blankets and cushions to create the perfect sociable dining experience. Some of the cottages benefit from their own private seating areas, but you can also bring everybody together on the large courtyard, where you can enjoy a drink or two. From your doorstep there are a number of opportunities to walk and cycle through the pleasant countryside, spotting some wonderful scenery and wildlife along the way. Ludlow sits just a short drive away; it’s a charming market town with lovely buildings, a castle and a great range of places to shop, eat and enjoy a drink.
