On a beautiful rural site near the village of Ashover, discover these three yurts positioned in the Derbyshire countryside, Spire View Yurts. Earning the name from the wonderful far-reaching views of Chesterfield's unique twisted spire atop the Church of St Mary and All Saints, Spire View Yurts lie in Northedge and are comprised of Silver Birch, Mighty Oak and Horse Chestnut, the former two sleeping five guests and the latter hosting four, allowing a group of up to 14 to enjoy a unique glamping experience. Silver Birch and Horse Chestnut also benefit from their own hot tub each, while the whole group share a spacious kitchen/diner for social meals together following the holiday adventures. Within easy reach of the Peak District and lovely towns like Matlock Bath and Chesterfield, Mighty Oak sits amidst two other yurts and offers all the home comforts of a normal holiday cottage with a unique twist.

The open-plan layout consists of a bedroom area, with a king-size bed and a triple bunk providing plenty of space for the group to spread out.

The thoughtful and tasteful décor is a welcome feature, alongside the woodburning stove, complete with a hot plate for boiling a kettle, and a lovely dining table and chairs.

Relax out on your own decking soaking up the beautiful views, or fire up the barbecue on a warm summer day.

The communal kitchen/diner has a modern yet industrial feel, equipped with everything you could need on a self-catered stay, and great for different groups to socialise, with its own balcony.

ASHOVER

Matlock 5 miles.

The small, rural village of Ashover is peacefully situated in the Amber Valley, just five miles from Matlock. The village has several good pubs, including the Crispin Inn, renowned as one of the oldest pubs in the Peak District and The Old Poets’ Corner which offers home-brewed Ashover ales. The county town of Matlock, a former spa town, offers a host of fine eating places, good shops and an interesting museum, whilst at the heart of the town, Hall Leys Park provides a lovely setting for a host of recreational activities such as bowls, tennis and boating. Enjoy a thrilling day at Gulliver's Kingdom, with its owl maze, water gardens, nature trails, exhilarating rides and cable car trips over the magnificent Matlock Gorge. Follow the High Peak Cycle Trail, explore the lovely market town of Bakewell, famous for the Bakewell pudding, or visit the elegant Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall where it all started for the Cavendish family.
