"This is a beautifully furnished and equipped holiday cottage set in a lovely location."
As warm and cosy as you want to make it. We arrived in wet weather but when we entered through the boot room, (well we called it that), we were able to hang our wet clothes up to dry. There was even a hose outside so we could wash our muddy boots, and the dog, before we came in. Lovely welcome pack of wine and cake. We really wanted to stay forever!
"Absolutely stunning cottage in a beautiful location."
So quiet. Fabulous position for numerous walks either from the door or just a short drive away. We’re hoping to return with our wonderful walking friends in the next year.
"We had a great week at Conkers cottage so peaceful and quiet, the cottage was so comfortable we loved it."
"A beautiful, well appointed and comfortable cottage in a beautiful location, perfect for leisurely walks."
The beds were very comfortable- we all slept like logs. The welcome wine was a lovely touch. We would definitely return.
"A wonderful stay and very comfortable."
Just a few pointers in relation to minor cleanliness and maintenance issues: Toilet brush/holders could do with replacing; Patio door latches outside missing so nothing to secure them in the breeze; Master bedroom curtain hook missing; Another hairdryer in second bedroom and small mirror on the shelf would be useful. We would certainly stay again
Dear Michael. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for pointing these minor issues out. We were having the patio doors and outside of the cottage repainted to try and keep the cottage up to date and to protect against the weather and did not realise these had been removed (it was very difficult to find a long dry stretch with the patchy weather). As soon as the following guest came to us directly we re-attached them straight away. The same for the curtain hook in the bedroom. We will replace the toilet brush holders and find another mirror for the shelf. If you have any future issues please do come to us straight away and we can sort them out. We hate for you to have had to put up with things that you weren't happy with rather than giving us a chance to sort them out at the time and finding out via feedback here. Best Wishes and hope to see you again. Conkers. Property Owner
"This is the place to stay for peace and quiet you can only hear the birds sing."
Well fitted out and comfy,no cost spared here everything is top quality, long walks direct from cottage and a delicious welcome pack. The owners were a pleasure to meet and very helpful pity we couldn't stay longer due to medical conditions,we'll done all round loved it Derek
"Conker Cottage is situated in a beautiful part of the country and being on a working farm makes it more charming."
One “small” irritant was the down stairs bathroom , A; The emitting stench . B; size, don’t try to use it if you are over a size “10” So, would we back ? Yes, as soon as the problems with the bathroom is sorted .
Thank you for your feedback and constructive comments. After having the plumbers in, we have now had the downstairs shower tray (which was deemed to be the main cause of the issue due to a small crack) replaced along with some of the pipe work. This seems to have alleviated the whole issue regarding any smell. We apologise if this impacted your stay with us, as we are very proud of our cottage and our strong record of amazing feedback from all our previous guests. Unfortunately we cannot do anything about the size of the bathroom downstairs due to its location, we have never had any other feedback stating this as an issue. There are also two other en-suite bathrooms within the property. We would love to see you again if you choose to return. All at Conkers Cottage. Property Owner
"Returned yesterday from a lovely holiday spent at Conkers Cottage."
The cottage is surrounded by glorious countryside and we were very comfortable and enjoyed the facilities provided by the owners who are lovely people, kind and considerate. On our arrival, we found coffee sachets and biscuits were waiting for us in a little basket along with flapjack and a bottle of wine - a lovely touch and very much appreciated - thank you!
"One of the best cottages."

It's warm, cosy and quite luxurious. It is maintained to a high standard, has beautiful bed linen and towels, is spotlessly clean, and welcomes you with cake, biscuits and wine. Lovely location and convenient for Church Stretton's amenities and pubs. It's our second stay here and we will definitely book again. Brilliant - it's fve stars from us.

"It was wonderful staying at Conkers Cottage."
It was very spacious and extremely comfortable. It had a well equipped kitchen and huge very comfy beds. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing i could say to improve it is maybe a second banister on the other side of the stairs. Thats all. Otherwise accomodation was perfect and the owners very friendly and helpful .
"The cottage was beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean."
"High quality accommodation in a beautiful setting."
The owners were very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive in any way. It is rural, but that was perfect for us, the odd hare and deer made it even more special.
"A well presented spacious cottage in a quiet prime location with lovely views and walks from the cottage would thoroughly recommend."

"Beautiful cottage in the most idyllic location."
Perfectly placed for a short lazy break or to drive short distances to lovely places. Accomadation was immaculate and comfortable.
"Beautifully situated and well designed property which was VERY clean."
Friendly owners. We liked the hooting owls and lack of train or motorway noise!
"Great cottage, lovely rural location, clean and well equipped, although no touch, which would have been handy given the location and with the storms we had ."
The bed in the master bedroom was perfect, despite the bad weather we had great nights sleep. The dog liked the safe, enclosed front area. The cake was most welcome. Lots of places to visit within driving distance. The kings arms and bucks head pubs served lovely food and dog friendly, and located at Church stretton.
"Conkers cottage was beautifully presented and very comfortable, surrounded by wonderful countryside."
One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in.

"Beautiful cottage, clean, comfortable, lovely location."
All mod cons. Good location for Victorian town/farm, Church Stretton, where there are good pubs and nice individual shops. We loved it here and would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it. Very generous welcome pack. Thank you for a lovely stay! Very happy with our choice.
"We were made very welcome by the owners on the farm."
The cottage was very dog friendly with boot and drying area. Also superb walks from the door
"Wonderful stay in beautiful Shropshire."
Cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located. Brilliant stay for four people and a child (we did not need the child facilities but they were excellent. Would recommend and may come again when visiting Shropshire. The only minor issue we had was there were quite a lot of flies around, but I guess that's what you get on a farm.
"Beautiful design of the cottage, more than exceeded our expectations, in fact probably the best ever."
Quiet and peaceful location, with lovely views across the valley.
"Conkers’ Cottage is simply perfect: spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated."
It is located in a quiet, rural area, but still very close to all the main walks in Shropshire Hills. Church Stretton with it’s shops and cafes is only 10 minutes drive away. We felt very welcome there and would definitely recommend it. Many thanks
