  • "Great property in a beautiful location."

Owner left us alone, but we knew he was there if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!!

  • "This is a lovely place to rest and relax after a day exploring the Peak District."

It is only a short drive to many walks, stately homes and castles. There is a quirky pub specialising in all things cheese that is a short but steep walk uphill and a CAMRA pub a 20 minute walk away but this one doesn’t do meals, however just a few minutes drive you can find plenty of places to eat. The welcome pack was really good and enough to get you through until breakfast if you haven’t brought anything with you. The property is attached to the owner’s house but fenced off for a private patio area with the hot tub and after the initial introduction we didn’t see him until we were leaving.

A very pleasant helpful host, without him being intrusive. Altogether nothing negative to say about this property, we definitely recommend it.
