  • "This cottage was completely the opposite of the one we stayed at in June 2019 (Nibletts Patch) which was absolutely filthy and dreadful."

The Croft was very clean, very comfortable and well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay there. The area was lovely and we would be happy to book again in the future.

The last part of the journey is down a one-car width track. The dogs next door were unhappy whenever they were left on their own but settled down later in the week.

We had got married the day before we went. When we arrived had a bottle of bubbly & card awaiting. Also a hot dinks tray and milk with chocolates. The croft at balmaha is well positioned cottage, your about 5 mins drive from tideswell, but feel your in the middle of no where.

  • "The Croft at Balmaha is the best epuipped property we have ever stayed at and we had a wonderful week there."

The owners were welcoming and really had thought of everything. The cottage was spotlessly clean, lovely and warm and furnished to a high standard. We really appreciated the fact that the owners had compiled a comprehensive guide to local walks, places to visit and where to eat. There are so many fantastic walks in the area we'll have to stay there again. 5* property thanks to the 5* owners.
