Nestled in the scenic Derbyshire countryside, a stone's throw away from the vibrant town of Matlock, rests this charming barn conversion, Grove Farm Barn.

Offering a delightful and homely setting, Grove Farm Barn is the perfect base for a small family looking to explore this picturesque county.

A charming stone-built exterior greets you upon arrival, giving a real cottage feel to the delightful dwelling, inviting you to step over the threshold and enter into the open-plan living space, beautifully presented with rustic exposed beams and stained wood flooring, complimented by the stylish contemporary fittings and furnishings.

Kick off your boots and nestle in on the sumptuous sofa in front of the television, enjoying a moments peace after a fun-filled day, before heading through to the country-style kitchen, fit with a range of modern amenities, where the designated chef can rustle up a heartwarming meal as you share a bottle of wine with a seat at the breakfast bar.

Gather your loved ones around the dining table to indulge in your culinary delights, or step outside and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining with a seat on the patio, enveloped in the magnificent views across the peaceful countryside.

As the day draws to a close, head back inside to prepare for bed in the immaculate family bathroom, elegantly tiled throughout and featuring a bath as well as a spacious walk-in shower, giving guests the choice between escaping into the pages of a good book with a leisurely soak in the tub, or an invigorating rinse.

Also nearby (5.5 miles) is Haddon Hall a former seat of the Dukes of Rutland and a beautiful example of a Tudor Manor house.

A picturesque town situated just outside of the stunning Peak District National Park, Darley Dale won the 2003 'Britain in Bloom' award in the Large Village category. It is surrounded by natural beauty, the town is also rich in history and culture with the Arts Festival and the Festival of Transport to discover. The Darwin Forest Country Park comes nearby should you want to enjoy a peaceful walk or enjoy a picnic in the warmer months. Head into the wonderful Peak District National Park for incredible scenery or the charming market towns, Bakewell comes just 5 miles away and is a great day out with its fine selection of amenities. The spa town of Matlock is also worth a visit with the historic Matlock Bath offering much for tourists including Gulliver's Kingdom for those of you young at heart. There are also a number of bustling cities nearby which are worth a look, Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby are all within easy reach.
