This attractive ground floor apartment is set in a converted period property in the small village of Two Dales, between the Derbyshire market towns of Bakewell and Matlock.

With a contemporary feel throughout, there is a light and spacious open plan living area, with a modern kitchen with granite worktops, double oven and marble tiled floor and a lovely dining area.

This leads into a lovely sunny conservatory, which houses comfy seating; a pleasant spot to sit, overlooking the pretty garden.

Both the bedrooms are tastefully furnished with quality beds and linens, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep, whilst the luxurious bathroom is fully tiled with underfloor heating.

Outside, there is a large patio area, where you can relax in the sunshine, with steps leading down to the lawn.

A five minute walk brings you to the local inn serving good food, whilst a five minute drive brings you into the popular bustling Peak District town of Matlock with a wide range of shops, quaint tea rooms and restaurants.

Bakewell is a charming market town, whilst the magnificent houses, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House with its grounds, are well worth visiting.

The National Tramway Museum at Crich is sure to be a hit with all the family and Cromford Mills will entertain all, with a look back in time to the Industrial Revolution.

With many walking and cycling opportunities, this beautiful apartment provides an excellent base for a varied and interesting holiday.

The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
