Just back from a 6 night stay at Herdwick Barn and had a brilliant time. The barn is in a great position within easy reach of several attractions and we could've easily spent double the time there and still found loads to do. The barn itself is spacious, extremely well equipped, comfortable and warm. The owners were very welcoming and helped us to settle in and answered a few questions without bother during our stay. Would recommend purchasing some of their meat products as well which were delicious. Special thanks for spending some time with us one morning to show us around the farm. It was interesting to hear some of the story about the place and the views all around were stunning. We'd love to return one day to the area and do some of the bits we never quite managed to do and will definitely look to stay again if possible.
