    The location of the cottage was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. It was very relaxing to sit by the cottage and watch the birds on the mill pond. Great to have Sky available.

Smithy And Weir Cottages On The Mill Pond

Imagine tucking into breakfast as just a few feet away, swans glide by and beautiful birdsong is underscored by the sound of cascading water. You’ve heard there’s a kingfisher which can often be spotted diving for fish, so perhaps you might stay put and try your luck? Perhaps you fancy exploring some industrial heritage, then have a coffee and cake at that deli, or maybe a bite to eat and a meander through a lovely bookshop? In the evening do you fancy a restaurant, a bit of pub grub and a real ale, or a bit of tapas with a glass of something to match?
