Its setting under a craggy mountain, surrounded by trees changing into their autumn colours was good for the soul. It was perfectly clean (I don’t know how they keep it so clean!) and very comfortable.

This cottage is a gem. It provided us with a real home from home for a lovely week exploring the area around Stirling. Jennifer and Peter were friendly and attentive hosts making us all feel very welcome. The only observations would be, as we were 2 couples a king size bed in the second bedroom would have been welcome as would a washing machine.

The standard far exceeds all expectations. Spotless, tastefully decorated, fully equipped but not over equipped as some places are. The welcome items of fruit, bread, butter and milk were very much appreciated after driving so far.........so much nicer and more practical than a cheap bottle of wine! The owners, Jennifer and Peter live on site and are at hand for any help or advice, or just a chat. Stirling with its sites and shops and efficient park and ride system is a short 4 mile drive. We would recommend Blairlogie Park coach House without hesitation.

I always expect to get what is advertised but am generally disappointed, so to actually have no disappointments was excellent! The house was lovely, the owners were great and even though this property is on a main road, we didn't hear the traffic. Thank you Jennifer and Peter.

We had a very warm welcome from Peter & Jennifer and a great stay in their beautiful accommodation. The Coach House is comfortable, sparkling clean and really well-equipped. In terms of location, it would be hard to beat! The views from the back patio and the front garden, directly into the Ochil Hills are stunning. Being on the A91 made it so easy to explore and also convenient for getting to local amenities. It's a great area to visit with so much to do right on the doorstep (the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle were fantastic) and even more variety just a little further afield (approx 1 hour to St Andrews and the Trossachs National Park) We had a superb holiday and would wholeheartedly reccomend a stay at Blairlogie Park Coach House.

After a full day, it was cosy, comfortable and welcoming to come back to. There was a bus stop a few minutes away so it was easy to get into Stirling. Also a farm coffee shop close by which did breakfasts and good coffee. Would recommend a visit to the Wallace Monument, courtesy bus provided to the base of the tower to see the great view. • "Blairlogie Park Coach House deserves a big fat 10 out of 10!"

This is the fourth cottage that we rented through Sykes Cottages and it has been the most lovingly decorated and best equipped of them all so far. The house is spacious with two large bedrooms with good beds (very important!), two bathrooms, a cosy living room with beautiful arts and crafts curtains which can also be found in the bedrooms upstairs and a light adjacent conservatory and a lovely very well equipped kitchen. All the kitchen utensils you ever need were available, that was a first for us! As well as a large freezer next to (or actually under) the fridge. Which was lovely as there are no good restaurants in the near vincinity apart from the farm shop and coffee bothy just at a five minutes walk distance. That was no problem however as there are a large Tesco, a Morrison's and a Sainsbury's not too far a drive away. The owners are lovely people ever eager to see that we lacked for nothing. The environs of Stirling with the Trossachs not too far away are ideal for hiking, biking and exploring as well as visiting towns and castles. We have absolutely loved our two weeks here, also because of the amazing weather, but mostly because we had such a wonderful ' home' to return to every evening.

We had a wonderful time. The coach house was exceptional, a home away from home. Comfortable, clean, warm, spacious and rather charming. We were made to feel very welcome by Peter and Jennifer and all of our needs had been pre-emptively considered. Whilst the overall package was superb, it was the small things that made our stay so special, and we are very grateful. About the location

STIRLING

Falkirk 12 miles; Glasgow 30 miles.

Stirling is Scotland’s youngest city and yet one that has so much history, specifically Mary Queen of Scots and William Wallace. ‘He who holds Stirling holds Scotland’ was the advice that inspired many famous battles including Bannockburn, and the story of Stirling’s history is evident today in the Old Town, which also boasts family ghost walks and tales from the graveyard. Stirling Castle boasts a superb, dramatic cliff-top location overlooking the city and provides a stunning outlook from its battlements to the mountains, cliffs and winding River Forth snaking away to Edinburgh. The nearby Wallace Monument also offers breathtaking views for those willing to attempt the steps to the top! Stirling is a university town and, as such, has many restaurants, bars and coffee houses as well as extensive shopping facilities. Its central location offers excellent access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, each less than an hour away by car, while closer to home is the historic, Victorian spa town of Bridge of Allan.
