  • "This cottage was absolutely superb."

Wonderful location surrounded by woodlands full of wildlife. Our dog Murphy loved the fully enclosed huge garden. Beautifully clean, all the facilities you could wish for. Huge interior, Smart TV and contrary to previous reviews the WiFi worked with no problems. No negatives at all. We will definitely come back.

  • "The Old Laundry is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting."

It has comfy beds and a great TV with Netflix and Amazon prime. We loved the place and the enclosed garden was great for the dog. We hope to return in the future and visit more of the wonderful Scottish countryside which is easy to access from the cottage.

  • "Beautiful holiday cottage in a peaceful and secluded spot ideally suited for exploring the East coast and beyond, as well as some great walks right on the doorstep."

We loved the spacious lounge with its large doors bringing the outside in and yet the bedrooms felt cosy and snug. The welcome was extremely friendly and polite but never intrusive. Best of all was the lengths you've gone to to make the place dog friendly. Our two wee cairns absolutely loved it.

  • "This is a wonderful cottage."

Very well laid out. Everything you could need, very well equipped with good quality furniture and kitchen equipment. So clean and comfortable and completely dog friendly. Lots of space inside snd in the enclosed garden. Seriously one of the best we’ve stayed in and we will return.

  • "The only thing that I felt the cottage lacked was a small freezer, if you were staying for a week & didn’t want to go near any shops like we didn’t."

Loved the cottage would go again & would definitely recommend as I have already.

  • "We had a pleasant week at the cottage and the only reason the comfort score is low is unfortunate timing as we were there when the heating wasn't working."

Other than that it is a lovely little cottage and my husband and I and our two dogs wouldn't hesitate to go back (after some reassurance the heating was working). There are loads of great places within easy access and a nice little walk direct from the cottage which the dogs appreciated in the morning and evening, the large garden is really secure for the dogs and a huge bonus.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Laundry Cottage."

A welcome surprise was a dishwasher that wasn't mentioned in the amenities. The cottage itself was warm & welcoming, beds were very comfortable as were the settees in the lounge. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever need/want. The wildlife in the surrounding area was lovely red squirrels, rabbits & the odd chicken wandering by. The wifi was very intermittent but this was advertised at the time of booking. Mobile reception was also poor so wouldn't advise for anyone who relies heavily on their phones. Other than that it was very peaceful & quiet with an excellent supply of books to bury your nose in. Would definitely recommend

  • "The location of the "Old Laundry" is superb."

Set amongst the trees it is tranquil and relaxing. Wild life all around it is the perfect place to unwind. The interior is well appointed and comfortable with the conversion being of a very high standard. We would most certainly return.
