  • "Lovely property."

Very clean and comfortable. The owner seems to have thought about everything so we could have a great holiday. She very kindly gave me a birthday present and card. The site was quiet yet had lots of bird song, pleasant to sit outside when the weather allowed. Easy to get to a variety of places. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

  • "The lodge is in an excellence location with lots of great walks and places to visit."

The lodge itself is immaculately in that it is so clean and has everything you need for a few days away or a longer stay. Fiona the owner was so kind to call us a few days before we were due to arrive to check if there was anything we needed before arrival. She gave us her mobile number in case we had any queries whilst we where there. The information pack was very informative and covered the lodge, placed to see. local walks, placed to eat etc. Highly recommended

It was spotlessly clean and provided every comfort and facility for our stay. Fiona, the owner, made sure that we felt welcomed by friendly communications and with lovely flowers, sweets, fresh milk and a bottle of wine. We had a lovely holiday and would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day.

Exceeded our expectations. Fiona was wonderful even advising a route change when she knew there was huge tailbacks. Thoughtful gifts and my granddaughter loved her ‘special pink drink’ could not recommend highly enough. Comfortable, cosy a real gem.

  • "From the moment we walked through the door we instantly felt at home & the lodge really did give us the wow factor."

It is spotlessly clean with such lovely interiors. The owner, Fiona, is a lovely lady & had left us a bottle of champagne as we are newly weds, along with some flowers & chocolates which was so unexpected & gratefully received. The lodge is fully equipped, with everything you need for a self catered stay. There is also a river out the back which is an added bonus & plenty of room to sit outside if the weather is nice. The location was great for us, & you can reach places like Scone Palace, Glamis Castle, Stirling Castle, all within an hour. We have nothing bad to say about the lodge & we would love to stay again :)

  • "Absolutely beautiful lodge with everything you can possibly need for a relaxing holiday."

Dog friendly too as the owner has a dog herself. Lots of outside seating areas . Lovely and quiet park and a half hour walk into the village of auchterader which has shops, cafes and restaurants. Fiona the owner contacts you a few days beforehand to check if there is anything you need and will let you no if you can get in earlier than the allocated arrival time on the day. She was going to wait for us to greet us but we were running behind time so sadly didn’t get to meet her . This lodge is the best I have stayed in and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended

  • "Lodge was fantastic."

The owner (Fiona) can’t be praised enough. She phoned before we arrived to say she would try to get us entry earlier than expected, she offered us some taxi numbers/quotes when we said we were going to Perth races and she phoned on the entry day to inform us of a problem she was having to deal with in the en suite toilet. There was even fresh milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge for us on arrival as well as chocolates and fresh roses. We had a brilliant stay and would recommend Daisy Lodge to anyone. Quite sure we will return.

I’ve been to a few lodges and this was definitely the nicest. It was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. There’s 3 areas to sit out and we were lucky enough to have lovely weather. The area next to the river was our favourite. Fiona was very helpful and left us a few lovely treats. Thank you! We would highly recommend Daisy Lodge and will definitely book again at some point.

. but honestly this lodge was was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, inside and out. Every little detail was thought of from the milk that was waiting in the fridge and the cheeky bottle of wine.. Location was great to visit all attractions. The owner contacted me with clear and exact instructions for our arrival as she knew we were travelling a far distance. Which was reassuring. This lovely lodge had absolutely every thing a little home from home. I will definitely be raving about Daiay Lodge to all I know. Thank you so much.. look out for is we will definitely be back.

About the location

Crieff 9 miles; Perth 13 miles; Stirling 20 miles; Glasgow 45 miles; Edinburgh 58 miles.

From the Gaelic meaning Upper Highland, the small town of Auchterarder sits amidst stunning rural scenery in Scotland’s beautiful Strathearn, Perthshire. The town was once affectionately known as The Town of 100 Drawbridges in the Middle Ages, on account of the small bridges that criss-crossed the gutters, offering access between the road and the houses. Gaining the title of Royal Burgh in 1200, Auchterarder was subsequently torched and completely destroyed by retreating Jacobites in 1715, and only the handloom industry allowed it to grow and thrive again. On the occassion of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton the Queen gave the title of Earl and Countess of Strathearn to the happy couple. Offering a fascinating history prominent in its old buildings, today the town is often referred to as The Lang Toun or Long Town after its 1.5 mile long main street, which leads to its thriving centre where many attractive shops, cafes and bars can be found. Hill walking, horse riding, cycling, shooting, fishing and even parachuting are available in this wonderful area, but golf enthusiasts will be especially delighted with the famous Gleneagles Hotel complex and Auchterarder Golf Club next door. St Andrews and Carnoustie are also an easy travel distance away.

Two medium sized (up to 35kg limit) well-behaved pets welcome.
