This charming annexe lies in the small hamlet of Lathockar near the historic coastal town of St Andrews.

Well-suited for a couple, this inviting annexe is amply equipped for a short break by the seaside, where you can practise your swing on the world-famous St Andrews Links or browse the historical charm of the town.

The annexe is suitable for those less mobile with all being on one level and having lots of space for wheelchair users.

After a day of touring the area, be welcomed into the open-plan living area, with ample seating and a Smart TV so you can flop down and relax for a while.

Adjacent is a fitted kitchen, well-equipped with all you could need for a short break, enhanced with glossy white units and a white-brick splashback, along with a dining table for mealtimes.

Move into the bedroom to catch your rest, complete with a king size bed and ample fitted storage for your personal belongings, while the gleaming shower room provides a refreshing place to prepare for the day.

To the exterior of the Annexe you have a patio area with table and chairs, perfect for spending a sunny afternoon with a favourite drink in hand, while there is also off-road parking for one car.

Just a short drive will bring you to St Andrews and its superb facilities; its streets are lined with an interesting mix of 13th century to modern-day buildings, along with a whole host of independent shops and restaurants of the highest quality.

History buffs can explore the castle, the now ruined cathedral and the adjacent church of St Regulus, where you can climb the spiral staircase to the top of the 108ft tower for unbeatable views of the town and its surroundings.

St Andrews Links is the largest public golf complex in Europe and teeing off here immerses you in 600 years of sporting history.

Alternatively, stroll the sandy expanses of the St Andrews West Sands Beach and venture to the rest of the beautiful county of Fife where you’ll be rewarded by traditional fishing villages dotted along the coast, not to mention historical sites such as the splendid Falkland Palace & Gardens.

St Andrews is Scotland's oldest university town and is situated in the north-east corner of the Kingdom of Fife. In this region, the landscape varies from the gentle hills in the rural hinterland to the windswept cliffs, rocky bays and sandy beaches where scenes from the film 'Chariots of Fire' were famously shot. The town is easily explored on foot, as the main streets form the hub of the town and offer an interesting variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. The association of St Andrews with golf dates to the 15th century, with the famous 'Old Course' being constructed in the 16th century, whilst today, St Andrews is the frequent venue of championship events and boasts an additional five alternative public courses in the area as well as the excellent Golf Museum. To the south of St Andrews is the East Neuk, a region of quaint fishing villages, while Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh can all be easily reached.
