Although some building work was going on it did not disturb us at all. A small development with a wood close to property for the short dog walks. The West beach in St Andrews was great for walking and also parking even tho it was next to golf course. The drive to St Andrews was easy and quick and parking in Argyll St was close to centre and fairly cheap too! The Annexe was modern and very well equipped with everything you would need. For our age and stage of life we found the chairs comfy to relax too.If I had one comment to make it would be that we would have preferred a firmer mattress but I guess it's what you are used to. Bed linen was otherwise lovely. It was much more spacious than we had imagined from the photos with plenty of cupboard space both for indoor and outdoor clothing and a battery vacuum for quick floor clean after returning from beach. The outside sitting area is sheltered from the wind and gets the sun well in to the evening We loved exploring St Andrews and will be back as there is still plenty to do and explore and would npt hesitate to book the annexe again. The owners were away when we were there but they contacted us to make sure all was well and this was much appreciated Reviewed by ElizabethJun 2022 "A superb holiday cottage in a beautiful setting."
