  • "We loved this little house in Perth, it was a great base to enjoy the surrounding area and was beautifully decorated and cared for."

Our main problem was the wifi connection, it was so very slow, using any streaming service was not possible and two of our party were had uni work and zoom job interviews so this was a problem, eventually they had to hotspot from their phone connections as the wifi could not cope with even just one person using it. The trains slowed down behind the property and were fairly infrequent so they really didn't bother us too much.

  • "We had a great week in Perth and the property was easy to find and access."

It provided a great base for a week of circular drives and all the places we wanted to visit in the area. The accommodation was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. There is a railway line running right behind the property. It didn't really affect our stay but it would have been nice to know about it before we booked. Bath sheets would be a useful upgrade from the bath towels provided.

  • "Great communication from the host before, during and after our stay."

Very comfortable property and convenient location.

  • "The trains passing the first floor kitchen window were a surprise and the shaking in the living room when a train passed."

We did not use the "garden as it was a very small dark yard with the rail line towering over it. The television was very poor as we were unaware that we were expected to have Netflix etc apps to watch anything except BBC. Internet was poor and constantly buffering. We had a power cut because the toaster element had burned out and didn't get a response from the owner for quite some time and couldn't get on the Internet for any other contact details. Luckily a very nice neighbour told us where the fuse box was. However the proximity to the very lovely city of Perth was great and the cleanliness was outstanding.

  • "The location of the house is excellent, as it is very central and within easy walking distance of the shops, river, cafe quarter, gardens and Kinnoull Hill."

We were impressed by the standard of furnishings in the house and its cleanliness. We also appreciated having some outdoor space in the small courtyard. We would happily stay there again if visiting Perth.

  • "The place is not the most attractive location however its very well placed for getting about and is very easy to find."

It would have been useful to have information on the listing or before the visit about that size of the freezer as its very small. We didn't need it for much but some might, its also a bit awkward having to go up and down for stuff out of it. Lighter bedding would be good as a choice rather than just a heavy duvet. TV doesn't have as much on it as you would expect, we used our own netflix etc but if you don't have those things there isn't a lot to watch. House is beautifully decorated and the kitchen has all you need (though didn't discover the chopping boards until late in trip with them being in a cupboard behind the bin!) Only thing it could do with is cleaning equipment, especially as the expectation is to clean prior to leaving

  • "Lovely place to stay couldn't have been happier for a central hub to southern Scotland."

Perth is a lovely place with shops galore with everything you could need no more than 5 minutes in a car to get anything you want. Loads of great days out and an utterly fantastic modern interior to come back to after a long day out and about.

  • "Stayed at Paradise Place in July."

This was an exceptionally well equipped house, well above what you would normally expect from a holiday home. Decorated to a very high standard, with top range appliances. This house was also cleaned to a very high standard. Overall a credit to the owner Linda and her cleaning team. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to anybody thinking of taking a break in Perth.

  • "Great central location."

Within walking distance of Kinnoull Hill which has spectacular views over the whole of Perth. All local amenities are also within walking distance. Property extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the sofas and my husband particularly enjoyed having a huge TV screen to relax infront of each evening. We personally found the duvets very heavy and hot at night for a July break. Although I'm sure they'd be very welcome in the colder Sottish months. Probably just personal preference though. The laminated cards on the bed were very handy and give you all the important information in one handy place.
